A HUGE thank you from the entire CTT team to Bill Welch, the tournament director for the Flint State Tournament for making this opportunity possible for us. It is just amazing all that he has done for so many teams and specifically kids!

OK, we are down to 2 days, 2 hours, 49 minutes. Almost game time for these incredibly talented and impressive kids! Boarding the plane in less than 1 day! Bring on Florida :)

There are 33 more days until our tournament in Winter Haven, Florida! We are very excited but falling behind. We have to do a lot of work but we are getting there. Good luck to all the other teams attending the tournament.

Pack your bags ctt members, were going to Florida. The crushing techno tigers did not win the state tournament but did receive a beautiful yellow trophy. I thought our season was over .................. but it's not. We received an invitation a world tournament in Winter Haven, Florida!!!!!!!!!! Thank you Mr. Welch for supporting our team, and recommending us for such a big tournament, our season would be over if it weren't for you:)

Fun time at Flint

I had a fun time at flint yesterday we watched teams compete and have a great time. Congratulations to the Sharks for winning the FLL state tournament and making it to the World Festival!! Good luck in St. Louis and have fun.

Also congratulations to The Force for earning runner up!

The kids on the CTT team are absolutely amazing, continuously surprising and impressing me.

We're going to state

Yesterday was amazing !!!!!!! As our team cheered and chanted throughout the day, we really worked hard. From interviews to robot runs to wishing teams good luck in the hall. When we saw multiple callbacks in the coaches hands, we were going nuts. Watching rookie teams have a great day, and watching one of the few get second place. It felt outstanding winning a trophy for our robot design. Best of all hearing our name ( crushing techno tigers)get called, and we ran up to get the certificate to state, was breathtaking. December 10th is going to be the second best moment of the season. The first was having our start of the season party(with Coach Daddio's cool hat) and seeing the team together for the first time this season. Also seeing my brothers team succeed and make it to state, and win the tournament. I'm so glad our teams season did not end this early in the year. State here we come.

Interesting distraction during our meeting :)

Tonight we had an interesting distraction during our team meeting.  This distraction was particularly interesting since our research this season started with venison :)

Andover high school practice tournament

I had a great time at the Andover high school practice tournament yesterday. I was glad to see all of the teams having a great time. I especially enjoyed seeing the Bearded Dragons doing great robot runs as a rookie team. I even forgot they were a rookie team! I am so glad my teammate Northbound and I could make it. Because we had a blast with everyone. Good luck at regional.
