A HUGE thank you from the entire CTT team to Bill Welch, the tournament director for the Flint State Tournament for making this opportunity possible for us. It is just amazing all that he has done for so many teams and specifically kids!

Down to the wire!

OK, we are down to 2 days, 2 hours, 49 minutes. Almost game time for these incredibly talented and impressive kids! Boarding the plane in less than 1 day! Bring on Florida :)

There are 33 more days until our tournament in Winter Haven, Florida! We are very excited but falling behind. We have to do a lot of work but we are getting there. Good luck to all the other teams attending the tournament.

Pack your bags ctt members, were going to Florida. The crushing techno tigers did not win the state tournament but did receive a beautiful yellow trophy. I thought our season was over .................. but it's not. We received an invitation a world tournament in Winter Haven, Florida!!!!!!!!!! Thank you Mr. Welch for supporting our team, and recommending us for such a big tournament, our season would be over if it weren't for you:)

Fun time at Flint

I had a fun time at flint yesterday we watched teams compete and have a great time. Congratulations to the Sharks for winning the FLL state tournament and making it to the World Festival!! Good luck in St. Louis and have fun.

Also congratulations to The Force for earning runner up!

Our one team member 'not' at 5th grade camp this week made some HUGE progress last night on the robot!  Techno-Brick Rocked!

The numbers are in! Crushing Techno Tigers Donate to MS Society

Well, the final numbers are in and the Crushing Techno Tigers are responsible for raising $285 for the Multiple Sclerosis Society.  The team walked in the Walk MS event earlier this year in Troy MI.

The team showed up on a cool windy morning and walked the route a nice size crowd!  We all wore our CTT shirts and got a nice response as we did our team "HOO-HAH" cheer :)

This is a great group of kids and giving back to in this way shows their heart & spirit.

P.S. It should be noted that we had a few 'Hippies'
join us too!  ;)

Robots, projects & teamwork!

I am really proud of these amazing kids. Great work last night & more showed up tonight @ CTT HQ to continue the effort. Our season is starting to really progress in all areas.

In what I consider to be the most challenging robot course to date we are on the cusp of pulling in a good amount of points. What a productive two nights!

Tournament prep!

So much to do and so little time to do it!

Today a few of the CTT members came over to play LEGO's with me :)

Made some progress on the robot and some things are starting to come together.  However there a long way to go before tournament day.

Looking forward to tomorrow's meeting :)
